I’ve known Tiffany since my sister and her started working together at Wells Fargo bank when I was still in high school. She is my sister’s one-time colleague and roommate, now turned longtime friend. Tiff is beautiful, charismatic, kind, and fun! Ben is a perfect match for her!
AND, the thing I’m secretly most excited about, I was with Tiff when she first started dating Ben! One night while I was back in town, Tiff, with a giddy smile on her face, told my sister and I that she’d “met someone;” and from the tone of her voice, we could tell, he just might be the one.
Congrats you guys! I’m so happy for you both! I had the most fun taking your pictures and cannot wait till the wedding.

Today is officially the relaunch of Revealed Studios, formerly known as Revealed Boudoir. Laurie Peacock and I first started Revealed to capture classy yet sexy images of women in the lingerie as a gift for their partners or self. We loved the work–it felt great to wrap a shoot up with our clients beaming from ear to ear with self love, pride, and excitement. Often times Laurie and I would turn to each other with our own big smiles and say how happy we felt to find a niche where we loved what we did AND it made others feel great too! This spark got us thinking, what if there are other women out there who’d love to have a beautiful, long lasting portrait or picture with their sister, best friend, or daughter. We realized we didn’t want to leave these women out because boudoir is more about the bedroom. That’s when we decided to broaden our reach and open our doors to every woman, no matter size, shape, or age. We realized Revealed Studios was the way to go, offering a similar experience to our boudoir sessions, just without the lingerie.
To celebrate our grand reopening, we’ll be running a special for the rest of April! We are offering hair and make-up, a personalized portrait session with either principal photographers, myself or Laurie, plus $100 print credit for only $99. Interested in booking a session today? Contact us! 773.273.9063 or by email to info@revealed-studios.com.
We’ve all done it…you know, facebook stalking 🙂 Well in this case, it worked out well for Engy and Jason. She spotted his image on a friend’s facebook page. He was part of an accounting group at their alma mater, U of I. He caught her eye, so that when she met him the first time while out, she made sure to introduce herself.
They went from facebook stalking, to facebook poking, to being facebook “official,” and next summer, they’ll once more update their status to “married.”
Congrats to you both! Looking forward to the wedding this summer.
Cheryl Scott, weather woman for NBC Chicago, came to the studio to have her portrait taken for Chicago Cub’s Weather Day Education Day at Wrigley Field. We had a ball swapping out different umbrellas and calling to mind scenes of Gene Kelly in Singing in the Rain! I lost track of how many years of bad luck we were in for when we wrapped the shoot, but let’s hope we’ll be ok since our intentions were good!
If you haven’t already, like Cheryl’s facebook page for latest updates on Chicago weather and fun pics! Just click HERE.
Love to hear your feedback! Leave a comment after the break.
I had a blast working on this shoot transforming Erin Johnson into her alter-ego Arhianna LeBlanc for interior design firm AK Lifestyle. We worked with extraordinary makeup artist Tracee Badway who used pin-up super star Bettie Page as inspiration for hair and makeup.
Crimson Lounge graciously allowed us their space for the shoot. I adore the space-the furniture is ohh la la so gorgeous!
Thanks to the ladies who made this shoot happen!
Here are a few behind the scenes shots at Tracee’s place during Erin’s makeup session.
Family and friends crowded into the Buddha room at Chicago’s Primitive museum and store, where Sarah and Stewart signed their Kuttubah, taking the first step in their wedding. In between the shadows and faces of the crowd, bronze and marble statues of SE Asian Gods were spotlighted. Their praying figures seated in lotus position, were like ancient onlookers in support of the union.
After the Kuttubah signing, the group moved out of the room, past the wishing lingam and into a larger space. Along the way, guests were able to take in the artifacts within the four floor gallery space. In one such artifact–an ornamental bridal bedroom, the couple exchanged their vows.
Sarah and Stewart met years ago when she was a clerk for Stuart, who was then an attorney. Sarah has since become an attorney as well and said about their common career path, “We laugh about the times we have had to work into the early morning hours or all night–anything is better with you best friend.”
Their friendship was infectious. They have so much fun together and in turn, create a great atmosphere around them.
I’m so happy for you both and wish you all the best!
Also, big thanks to Stephanie Kitts for shooting with me!
Thank you to all the vendors who worked hard at this wedding!
