Wicker Park’s Avocado Eatery delights the senses

Tease your taste buds a bit with these photos from a recent shoot for PopSugar at Avacado Eatery.  The dishes were prepared with fresh vegetables, seasoned with a medley of flavors, and served in a low key, casual dinning room. The chef Stephen rocks a faux-hawk/asymmetrical hairdo and creates these colorful lunchtime bites with Santigold and Passion Pit playing in the background.  Such beautiful food makes it hard not to nibble while shooting, but I managed to resist and was rewarded with the delicious wrap pictured below. I shared half with a friend, who said, “OMG-this is delicious!”  Check ’em out, Avacado Eatery at Western and Milwaukee. 1913 North Milwaukee Avenue.

Facials, food art, and craft brews-recent shoots for Pop Sugar

I love shooting for Pop Sugar because of the variety of business I’ve been introduced to across the city.  In March I visited Urban Chic Spa where facial products come in delicious looking packages, stopped by One Sister Inc. where Iliana creates works of art out of her delectables, captured the ballet inspired work outs at The Dailey Method, then hopped along the Chicago Beer Experience Tour where on one stop participants try beer paired with bacon!  Here’s a sampling of some from each spot.
