Mo and Julianne picked me up at 7:20, just as the sun peeked over the horizon. “I hate you for making me wake up this early,” Jon Morton, Mo to friends, Jonny to Julianne, said before giving me a hug. “It’s all for the light Mo, the light,” I responded with an amused smile.
The coupler were amongst the first people I met when I first moved to Chicago three years ago. At the time, Mo worked with my roommate Amanda at her new job downtown. During their first week working together he invited us to a social event with a group of his friends from the University of Illinois. That group adopted me and Amanda, adding us to their email chain and making us a part of their ever-growing circle.
With Mo in law school and Julianne in Med, the pair never seem to run out of new material to talk about. Throughout their engagement session there was a back-and-forth exchange of stories from Julianne’s experiences at the hospital or some new and obscure case Mo just learned about. They’re both brilliant, driven, and opinionated; they make each other laugh all the time. I loved listening to them devour topics with each other and watch as they made each other smile.

Ha, it's true- We wake up early, stay out late and climb on top of wobbly things just to get the right light. And the light and colors in that 3rd one are beautiful.
